Good Afternoon GT Families,

We are so excited for the meet on Thursday! It’s sneaking up on us fast, so here are all of the details! If we left anything out, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

When: Thursday, June 25^th

Team Arrival: All athletes will meet at the front entrance to the CRC at 7:30am. We will take a team photo, hand out credentials, and then walk in together. The entire team must enter together so please be on time!

We also have a small surprise to hand out to each of our championship swimmers 😊

Warm Up Time: 8:10 – 8:25am

Meet Start Time: 9:30am

Seating: This year our team will be located ON DECK in seating area “O”. You can look at the map here. Spectators will not be allowed to sit with the team on deck. Only athletes and parents who volunteered will be allowed in seating area “O”.

Snacks/Water: Swimmers can and should bring snacks and water with them. No glass and no large coolers, but most anything else goes!

Leaving Early: Once swimmers are done with their events, they are free to leave! It’s a long day so we understand not sticking around until the very end. If you are volunteering on deck, please just let Kristen Robbins know when you leave with your child. If you are a spectator, please text Kristen Robbins (404)889-4404 and she can walk your child to the top of the stairs to meet you in the spectator area. Spectators are not allowed on deck, and we want to be extra careful to ensure all athletes get home with their respective parent!

Parking: Coaches and team vehicles will NOT receive free parking passes. Prepaid parking will be available in the W10 parking deck that is adjacent to the CRC. To park in this deck, you must prebuy a parking pass, you cannot pay at the gate. To prepurchase parking please visit https://gatech.parkmobile.io/events . Parking costs $18. Overflow parking for W10 and any day of parking for those who did not prepay is located at the W02 lot at 355 Ferst Drive (this is the student center lot).

Order of Events: WE WILL SWIM A MODIFIED ORDER OF EVENTS FOR THE MEET.*

The meet order is as follows:

- 6 & Under Free Relays

- All Medley Relays

- 6 & Under Individual Free

- All remaining Free Relays (7/8 & older)

- 6 & Under Individual Back

- All Remining Individual Events starting with 7/8 25 Free

*The purpose of this is to get all the 6 & Unders done early so they can return to their parents.
